Prithvi Raj Bhatt

Welcome to my page on PRB. My name is Prithvi Raj Bhatt, commonly known as John Bhatt. I am a blogger, passionate web developer, technical community enthusiast, webmaster, teacher, a certified Fleet Analyst and a Proud Nepali that have many dreams on mind and want to fly high, very high someday with the hard work and dedication.

Since last 7-8 years, I have been blogging, helping peoples in community, learning new things and sharing knowledge alongside my main domain, Transportation. I have started my career with Best Roadways Limited, a leading transport company in India back in 2008. Since then, I have worked for many organizations at various Roles. I believe in working, no matter what is it. I never compare any work as mean or lower than other one. Below is a quick timeline of my professional journey where you can find about my nature and philosophy.

  • July 2008 – Came to India from Nepal and started working with Best Roadways Limited, Haryana as Workshop Attendant.
  • April 2009 – Went home due to examinations.
  • May 2009 – Came back to India and started working with Axis Fortification Pvt Ltd, Bangalore as Security Guard.
  • July 2009 – After a quick living at Bangalore, Returned to Best Roadways as Fleet Maintenance Executive to Workshop Incharge.
  • March 2010 – Continued working with Best Roadways and shifted to EDP Department
  • Feb 2011 – Left Best Roadways Ltd while leading team of ERP Implementation and Training.
  • March 2011 – July 2011 – Worked as Computer Faculty with Indian Computer Institute, New Delhi.
  • July 2011 – July 2012 – Worked with Scorpion Express Pvt Ltd as Billing Executive in Zirakpur, Punjab.
  • August 2012 – Current – Working with RCI Logistics Pvt Ltd as MIS/EDP Manager.

These were all my full time jobs and mostly all on Transport Domain. However, passion to learning was never lost and I continuously learned new technologies during those years. It was first when Madan sir from Modern Computer Education taught me HTML, I have keep interest on Internet and Web Designing.

I created my first site with Yahoo Geocites. After the closure of Geocites, I used 110mb.com as free host. Approx 2-3 years and tried almost every CMS that has Flat-file database support. Writing content, removing and creating new content, again repeating the process, I have lost all my content but learn the value of data and methods to keep them safe for future retrieval. Then I have purchased my own domain back in year 2010 and started playing with domain management, DNS, Web Hosting tools and related stuffs and created a very popular website named Download Center. You can find many posts as service update on Download Center. Download Center was started as website that allowed people to download songs those were classic and old songs those are not ported to Internet by their original publishers. We have collected more than 500 such precious Nepali songs and few Nepali regional songs. But here comes the drawback of free hosting. They removed all content and banned us from even taking backup of our content. We lots everything.

Immediately following the event, I purchased shared hosting and tried many leading web hosting providers. Currently this page is coming to you from InMotionHosting.

Along with this, I have been active on community activities since 2010. I am a Level 4 member of Yahoo Answers. Also been active on ASP.NET Forums, MSDN Forums, DotNetFunda forums, DotNetSpider forums, CodeProject forums and many to name.

Most recognised as Forum Editor at DotNetSpider.com. I have been author and community member at DNS for last 5 years and been an active Editor since last 3 years. I have won several awards and prizes from DotNetSpider. Few of them are listed below.

Along with this, I have been member of IndiaMentor team which is recognising the effort of Mentors who have been inspiring us and giving us the opportunity to learn new things towards growth of our life.
